“Hello my name is Becky and I am the manager of Walesby School Nursery and After-School Club. I started my journey here in June 2020 and since then I have implemented many changes.
I have a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years as well as a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support in Teaching and Learning. I have also completed a Level 4 in Management and Leadership alongside many other qualifications such as Level 3 in Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Special Educational Needs and Paediatric First Aid.
I am learning new skills and gaining knowledge all the time to make sure myself and my team supply the best education and childcare at all times.
I have two boys that keep me very busy at home, so family time is important to me. We like to spend time outdoors and go-karting.”
“I am Niki and I have worked at Walesby School Nursery for nearly 6 years now. After being a Post 16 teacher for nearly 15 years, I decided on a change of direction and retrained into Early Years. I have experience of working with SEN children and children and young people with additional mental health needs. In September 2020 I moved into the role of Office Manager at Walesby Nursery. This has allowed me to focus on paperwork and office planning as well as being able to carry out targeted language interventions and support the rest of the team with any SEN requirements.”
“Hi, I am Jodie. I am a Level 3 Practitioner and also Deputy Manager. I thoroughly enjoy working here at Walesby School Nursery and After-School Club, it’s amazing to see little people transform into the big characters we help them create.
I have my own little girl Lola, who has such a big personality. We love going to different parks and spending our time with our family.”
“I’m Olivia. I have my Level 3 in Early Years Education and I have been working at Walesby School Nursery and After-School Club since November 2019. I love working at Nursery as I get to help and see the children grow and learn!
It’s so rewarding to see the children come into our Nursery, growing their confidence and seeing how much they develop before moving into School.
In my spare time I enjoy going shopping and spending time with friends.”
“Hello, I am Emma, I am a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner and have been working here at Walesby School Nursery since April 2021.
The thing I love the most about my job is watching the children grow and develop. My hobbies outside of work are spending lots of time with my son, we love going to the forest and making memories as a family.”
“My name is Beverly and I am also known as Bev. I’ve been working at Walesby School Nursery and After-School Club for a total of 21 years. In previous years I have worked as a Full Time Deputy Supervisor until I took part retirement in recent years. I now work on Fridays to help out with administration work in the office, but I am always available to lend a hand when required.
I love every child and their individual personalities. They make work fun and every day is different. I am a parent myself, having two older children and we recently added 4 paws to the family in the name of Kenco. I am looking forward to new adventures with him.”
“Hello my name is Jeanie. I have worked with children since 2015, I love to see the children grow and become independent. I have worked very closely with SEN children. I love working with little people as everyday is different.
